Hiptown has earned more than $250,000 across reined cow horse, team roping, ranch rodeos and ranch horse competitions, and he’s still showing!
His successful show career began when he and Tripp Townsend claimed the 2019 National Reined Cow Horse Association Snaffle Bit Futurity Limited Open Championship. The pair has since pocketed significant earnings in the NRCHA and Ranch Horse Association of America. Additionally, Tripp's niece has had success with Hiptown in the National High School Rodeo Association Cow Horse Event.
When it comes to team roping, Hiptown's great disposition and athleticism have gotten him the call in Open ropings like the Bob Feist Invitational and Spicer Gripp. It's not uncommon for Hiptown to be used from the Open down to the #8 — he fits all levels in heading and heeling.
Hiptown still works at home on the ranch and has made multiple trips to the Working Ranch Cowboy Association World Championship Ranch Rodeo. In August 2025 at the Colorado State Fair, Hiptown and Tripp won the Ultimate Top Hand Challenge.
He is a proven performer and will continue to show in all disciplines as he produces offspring for Sandhill Cattle + Horses and outside mares.

What fees are due now and what’s due at collection?
The booking fee is due now to secure your breeding for 2026. The chute fee and any additional charges are due to MVP. Exact amounts and timing are stated in the contract. Please call the MVP Office at 806-622-0803 to schedule and pay fees.
What guarantees or rebreed terms apply?
The Limited Live Foal Guarantee and any rebreed and warranty provisions are defined in section 4 and 7 of the breeding contract. Please review the Limited Live Foal Guarantee section carefully so you understand eligibility, timelines, and any veterinary requirements for rebreeds.
Where does HIPTOWN stand and who do I call for collection or shipment timing?
Hiptown stands at Sandhill Cattle and Horses and breeding is managed by MVP (Mobile Veterinary Practice), Amarillo, Texas. The clinic number is 806-622-0803. Collection days, cutoff times, shipping methods and any counter-to-counter or weekend policies are detailed in the contract.
Do you accept card payments? Or can I still pay by check?
Yes to both! If you complete the online contract, you can pay securely online with a card (access payment link HERE). If you prefer to mail the printed contract, you can include a signed check with the paper copy of the breeding contract.
